This Middle School program explores personal finance, budgeting, credit card usage, credit reporting and the importance of % insurance. Students’ education and career options are based on their skills, interests, and values; also demonstrates the economic benefits of staying in school.

JACO 2020 is a collaborative to expand financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurial skills to 50,000 central Ohio students annually. IGS Energy has pledged $250,000 and 50 volunteers toward the effort and launched the “Power of Tomorrow Challenge” encouraging the support of JACO 2020 through financial contributions and volunteers.

Imagine a city run by fifth graders. Imagine one of these young consumers rushing to the bank to deposit a paycheck after working a shift at a local retail store.

We are passionate about making sure every student in our 27 county region received economic and financial education they deserve. Our goal is to eventually reach all kids. With your help, we can really make this a reality.
